Things have not changed much though, although theKindle 3 now boosts 50% better resolution and comes in shiny graphitecolour for everyone who is not crazy about the old white. The Kindle 1 has already been a big success for the company, being a first mover product and thus collecting lots of profit. Skiff Reader

The Skiff Reader has been the big head turner at the CES 2010, and rightly so. It’s flexible, great to look at and probably has the most intuative user handling we have ever seen. Just think interactive newspaper and you get the picture. Here is a review, mostly from engadget, which gives you an idea about just how beautiful it is. We had a chance to sit down with the team to go hands-on with the 11.5-inch e-Reader. As a device, the near final prototype was big pushing an impressive 1,600 x 1,200 resolution — enough to… Read the full review

SKYTEX Primer

The Skytex Primer is the purest E-Reader we have come across since the Kindle and it comes with a couple of things the Kindle is still struggling with. First, it has a colour display which might be something users are looking for right now, especially those who are after a full PDF reader or want their Newspapers with colour pictures in it. Secondly it has a really good text-to-speech functionality, which the Kindle also has but with a somewhat weaker quality level. Here is an excerpt from Skytex’ press release. Yes, it’s… Read the full review

Asus Eee Slate

. The Asus Eee Slate is definitely a beauty. So much so that most of the people around us were asking if this is the next generation Ipad, which by any standards can only count as a compliment. The Asus tablet runs on Windows 7, which is change from most tablets which either run on Apples IOS or Android. However Windows 7 has been called the best Windows of all times and in our opinion this is definitely true. While playing with the Asus the things that stick out most are the extremely fast reaction times whenever… Read the full review

Velocity Micro Cruz Reader

Velocity is a fairly new player in the E-Reader game and has come out with a very nice to look at, Android based E-Reader with a wealth of functions which are supposed to dwarf the Kindle series. With full support from the Borders book shop this E-Reader provides you with a colour, drag and drop book store to surf through and boosts a full colour user menu, which makes choosing a book a breeze. The only thing which we thought was negative was the somewhat small screen, which might push you towards the Kindle DX again…. Read the full review

Apple iPad 3

iPad 3        It´s here! The iPad 3 has arrived and we had a “hands-on” with it to give you some impressions… Note: Even though the new iPad doesn´t have an official name (It´s not the iPad HD as we thought at least), we are going to call it the iPad 3 for simplicity. The first thing we wanted to check when we had the chance to play around with it was the size and the weight, which, given that the display is not in full retina resolution, we thought would be bigger and heavier that before….
