Pocketbook 701 IQ ereader reviews

The Pocketbook 701 IQ is a tiny little E-Reader which is supposed to fill the gap for on-the-go E-Readers with people who think the Kindle is too big for their taste. Pocketbook 701 IQ ereader reviewsIt comes with a 7-inch color display with a decent touchscreen, however to use it as an E-Reader is a bit tricky due to it’s very bright display, which causes the eyes to strain after a while.

In general all E-Book formats and File Formats work on the device, at least we have not found anything not working. The only limitation is the fact that due to the small display size PDFs are sometimes not displayed in a way that you would actually like to read them. It is simply a bit too small to serve as a file reader device.

What we liked is the fact that it is really small and compact and might be appealling to people who are want to use it temporarily during travels, so for example in the plane. If you are looking for a book-substitute E-Reader we would still recommend the Kindle, as the E-Ink technology really makes more sense for that purpose.

Actually this is quite a cool product, even though it looks inferior to a Kindle or especially the IPad. But if you are really looking for a small device to do your little reading, this works really wel,, has a very good touchscreen and the battery lasts for ages!
