E-Reader Reviews

Hello,

I am planning to purchase an eReader and it'll be my first one ever, but with so many brands in the market, I am confused as to which one best suits me. I hope by posting this, I can get an idea as to what recommendations others can provide me. Here is what I am looking for:

1. I want to read Microsoft Word, WordPad, and Notepad files on the eReader. This is very important as I have more Word files than .pdf files.

2. I have lots of graphic/comic/manga novels on my computer. They are in assortment of .pdf and .jpg files. I would like an eReader that allows me to view both types .pdf and .jpg files comfortably, so graphics is vital in this case. I really don't want to be squinting at word bubbles.

3. Ability to take notes on eReader with either a keyboard or a stylus pen. This isn't a requirement but would be nice to have the capability for.

4. mp3 player and wireless are not important to me. I am around a computer 15 hours a day so I can do without them.

5. Price range I would prefer to be under $400.

Any suggestions? Please help! Thanks in advance!

Agreed, it looks like you should look into the Ipad or a similar tablet PC, what you need no E-Reader can provide as they are not optimized for graphics etc.
